Happy March everyone! We love living and working in Chilliwack and want to share about some things happening in the community for the rest of this month. We encourage you to get out there, support local businesses and check out some fun events happening! Here's what's going on:
- March 13th-15th the BC Outdoors Show is at Chilliwack Heritage Park
- March 14th, 21st, 22nd & 29th the Chilliwack Chiefs are playing at home at the Chilliwack Coliseum
- March 15th the Chilliwack Film Society is hosting an Oscars Watch Party at the Grand Hall in District 1881
- March 28th the Chilliwack RCMP and the Chilliwack Firefighters are hosting a charity hockey game called Guns vs Hoses at the Chilliwack Coliseum
We would also like to retroactively wish everyone a Happy International Women's Day! And here are some other fun days to celebrate this month:
- March 17th is St Patrick's Day
- march 20th is International Day of Happiness
- March 23rd is World Puppy Day
- March 27th is World Theatre Day
Make sure to always check out the Chilliwack Cultural Centre! They host events every month for every member of the family. From adult comedy nights, to family friendly puppet shows. The Tourism Chilliwack website also posts a calendar of events monthly. Other local pubs and restaurants, such as Kelly O Bryan's, Corky's and Sidekick, also host events monthly.
